Ground Beef Versus Ground Sausage
Ground beef is the perfect addition to the dish as it adds a hearty texture and flavor. Ground sausage is a more concentrated flavor and provides more spices and herbs, although it is a bit higher in fat and calories than ground beef in some cases. Ground beef is also a great source of protein and helps to make the dish more filling. For added depth of flavor, ground sausage adds a rich, smoky flavor. It is easy to substitute ground beef for ground sausage, as it is a less expensive alternative. Ground beef still provides all of the protein and texture of ground sausage, as well as a delicious flavor. No matter what protein you decide to add the result is sure to be a delicious, hearty dish that is sure to be a hit with the whole family.
