My Spring Tablescape

Looking for some fun Spring themed inspiration for your table decor? I totally have you covered! This table is adorable for any event you may have coming up to host like Easter, Mothers Day, bridal showers, Bdays, or a simple Brunch. You name it.. this table will fit perfectly! To tell you all the truth, this may be my favorite table scape I have ever done! I love the gingham tablecloth, touches of green, and don’t even get me started on the gorgeous flowers!!

Julie from Emerald Grace is my go to flower girl in California and did these for me, and I couldn’t love them more! I send her my inspo and she always executes it perfectly! I wanted them to be a play on garden flowers coming out of the cutest flower pots I had ordered from White Flower Farm. For more of Julie’s work or to book her for your next event click -here-.

Let’s talk tablecloth.. My idea was to have a square gingham tablecloth in a diamond shape on my long white table. However, I couldn’t find it in pink square but good old Target had an amazing deal on a long one. To get the cloth perfect, I actually ordered a sewing machine and asked my Mom to come over to help me learn how use it, and we made it into the square I wanted! I will link table cloth in all sizes below because the deal is so good!

Plates are from Zara Home and are just darling and are at a price point that is amazing! Plates linked -here-.

Napkins are ones I made myself from a past Thanksgiving table and have probably been the most used napkin of all time. For more info on those head over to this blog post -here-.

Flatware I used for this table is dainty, will stand the test of time and is made right here in the USA. I will link those right -here- for you. If you do purchase anything off of 360 I have a 20% off discount for the entire site including flatware! Use code AMANDA20

Everything else I used is linked below. I hope this table brings you inspiration for your next event. Thank you for stopping by.

Creating a Magical and Romantic Valentines Table Setting

February is one of my favorite months of the year! I’m a sucker for all the love in the air! So I had to kick off the month with an adorable table scape that has all the romantic feels! Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to surprise your loved one with a romantic evening filled with love and affection. One of the best ways to do so is to create a beautiful and intimate Valentine’s Day table setting. With the right tableware, décor, and table layout, you can create the perfect romantic setting for a magical night. In this blog post, you will learn how to set the perfect romantic Valentine’s Day table setting that will impress your loved one!

Creating a romantic Valentines table setting is a great way to make your dinner special. Begin by choosing a light and airy color palette such as pale pinks, golds, and whites to create a romantic and whimsical atmosphere. To start, create a romantic setting with candles and cascading florals. Go for an all-pink theme with pink linens, and pink accents for a classic look. Incorporate velvet and gold accents for a romantic textured vibe. To add more beautiful texture to the table, try using floral place settings. Using lots of baby's breath and beautiful pinks of all shades for a cascading floral display make for a one-of-a-kind centerpiece. To finish off the look, set up a fun bar cart with drinks. Decoy wines are a great option to allow guests to pick their favorite. To add a touch of romance, use pastel-colored candles and place them in long stem gold vases. This look is beautiful and sure to set the mood for a romantic dinner. With these ideas, your Valentine's Day table setting is sure to be the most romantic occasion yet!

Last year I did a fun and flirty theme with lots of rosey pink! This year I went more of a mauve pink, with romantic baby's breath everywhere!! The velvet tablecloth gave a lovely soft texture with cascading flowers down the side and candles burning for an even more intimate final touch!

Blossom Lane dishes from Lenox gave yet another delicate touch with the most beautiful white on white floral pattern. These dishes were absolutely perfect for a fancy Valentines dinner but also not too over powering for everyday use as well! I finished the place settings with Tuscany Rosé glasses to enjoy our Decoy Rosé all night long!

I truly hope this helps in your planning for a romantic Valentines tablescape!

I linked everything I used and all the brands who made this gorgeous valentines come to life:

Our Neutral (with pops of pink) Bedroom

0700A157-4D66-46FA-9B4E-A3868E4605FB.jpeg

When updating our bedroom after moving everything over to the beach house I wanted to mix of all the styles I like.. a little boho with a sprinkle of vintage! To tell the truth I really don’t know what my style for home décor is.. I love parts of all styles so I’m always trying to make it work together. I think I was able to complete this in our bedroom but also make it functional and cozy!

I also really wanted to add in pink to the all neutral room but still keep it masculine enough for Scotty. By getting the wood edging bed that has so much detail I felt it added texture and kept the rest of the bedding neutral, except the 2 blush muted pillows to add the pink I wanted. Then I added 2 vases to carry the color though. Along with our photos on the wall where I am wearing a pink dress in some. This gave the touch of color I wanted without Scotty caring. This also gives me room to change it out in the future if I want and not spending a bunch of money.

Linking everything below and similar items incase they sold out! Hope you love it as much as I do!

Unmasking Elegance: Hosting a Magically Chic Halloween Party

Spooky can also be stylish! As Halloween approaches, feel free to throw away notions of traditional decor, fake blood, and store-bought costumes. It's entirely possible to embrace the spirit of this ghoulish holiday while still maintaining a hint of refinement and elegance. Join us as we explore how to host a chic Halloween party that combines the thrill of spooktacularly eerie vibes with a classy, tasteful aesthetic. From sophisticated Halloween decor to gourmet treats and high-fashion costumes, we've got you covered for the most memorable and glamorous all-out Halloween bash ever!

Halloween can be such a fun Holiday for many reasons such as decorating, dressing up for a costume party and staying in to watch scary movies. However.. I must admit, this girl isn’t the biggest ‘Halloween’ fan. I blame my Mom for my normal lack of Halloween cheer because she wasn’t the biggest fan of the day either haha! Anything scary just isn’t my thing and dressing up as a character never has been overly enjoyable to me. What I do absolutely LOVE is the vibe of the Fall season. Anything Harvest and Fall Festive is my jam. My husband, however, loves Halloween, so I wanted to try combining his love for the spooky season and my love for throwing a great dinner party to celebrate!! Here is my vision of what I call a Chic Halloween Party or Grown-up Halloween. This is my cutesy twist on the season all while trying my best to incorporate my love for light colors (of course pink) with a little bit of traditional Halloween colors to really make it a perfect mix for a spooky seasonal party!

Incorporate Florals

Are you looking for ways to make your Halloween party more chic? Look no further! Incorporating florals into your decorations can be a great way to create a spooktacular sophisticated atmosphere. You can use flowers to create an arrangement along with ghosts, bats, pumpkins and florals for a very chic look. You can also create a festive vase with beakers and florals. White roses and spider webs placed in the arrangement will add a unique and elegant touch. With the combination of these decorations, your Halloween party will be the talk of the town!

The most important thing I add to any table is the centerpiece. Nine times out of ten my centerpieces will always be floral! I am such a huge flower fan so adding flowers to my tables is always an absolute must! They smell great, look great and give you a gorgeous full centerpiece.. and its the gift that keeps on giving because you get to enjoy them for the next week! My girl Julie at Emerald Grace has done my last few parties and she is THE BEST at always making beautiful pieces! I love the touches of orange with the pinks for the table and bar cart that really mixed well with the colors of the cocktails. The flowers made everything flow really well. Another touch we did was a beaker as a flower vase! Making the bar cart a chic mad science lab haha! You can also do this with glass bottles if you can't find beakers or don't want to purchase something new.

Think Beyond Orange

When it comes to putting together chic Halloween party decorations, it is important to think beyond the traditional orange and black decorations. By utilizing shades of your favorite colors with black and white, you can personalize a stylish and sophisticated look for your Halloween gathering. This is perfect for those adults who prefer a more subtle touch of Halloween spirit in their party decor. You can create an inviting atmosphere with elegant white linens and black accents. Add a touch of glamour to your party with shimmery all-black and white decorations. You can also use faux pumpkins, black and white flowers, and other chic Halloween party decorations to bring your party to life.

Other Items on my tabletop settings were my everyday dishes from Pottery Barn. These babies look good on every table I do. However, if you don’t have white dishes or are throwing a larger party, I highly recommend renting all the dishes and glasses. They are my favorite things to rent because it means you have fewer dishes to do at the end of the night! SCORE! Being this was a smaller party, I also went ahead and got the gold flatware I have been wanting for a while now. I found a set on Amazon and figured I’d give it another shot and hoped the gold was the right shade I was looking for. I am a little picky when it comes to gold silverware. I have tried ordering multiple times already and ended up sending them back. However, this time to my surprise this set was a gorgeous gold and I loved the style!

Another way to elevate your table décor is with some stylish glasses. The more the better. They add texture and height to every table. I did 3 with this table and I love that they are all different heights. Also, It worked perfectly that I did 3 because I served 3 different types of cocktails, in case my guests wanted to try all three.

I wanted to add in some additional Halloween decorations, because, after all, that’s what the party is for right?? So I did an adorable signature bat wall (That will also be doubling as decorations for my front porch for the rest of Halloween). I then added in some skulls. I did one on the main table next to the centerpiece and one on the bar cart to add another decorative element. Lastly, I picked a textured table runner. Technically this particular runner wasn’t originally made to be a table runner but it worked perfectly as one for the Halloween table and to drape on the bar cart! ( I will link everything below but note on the table runner I purchased, it comes with a TON of cloth. So if you are having a big party you’ll be set!!) Another thing you could do is a life-size skeletons pushing the bar cart!

Bake Sweet Treats & Chacuterie

Adding a chic touch to your Halloween party can be as easy as ordering from Bake Sweet Treats. From decadent cupcakes to spooky cookies, Bake Sweet Treats has a variety of treats to choose from to satisfy any Halloween craving. Cupcakes and cookies can be decorated with Halloween-themed decorations such as pumpkins, ghosts, and bats. If you're looking for something even more special, Bake Sweet Treats also offers a variety of Halloween-themed cakes with intricate designs and flavors. The delicious treats from Bake Sweet Treats will be sure to make your Halloween party unforgettable.

The most important part of EVERY party is good food and drinks! I always love to outsource where I can and found a local baker. Fun Fact, if you didn’t know I actually used to be a baker and would make cakes and desserts for parties and weddings back in the day. However I don’t bake nearly as much anymore and the amount of creative work that goes into them isn’t always worth the hassle for me, especially being a little out of practice. So I called up Rosalyn and sent her some inspo pics and she made the most adorable cake, cupcakes and cookies!!! If you are around our town of Tulare, CA area you can find her -here-. This cake would be perfect for any Halloween birthday as well!

Charcuterie boards are pretty much my favorite thing to create at every event. I’m sure you can all relate! This time I made mine Halloween-themed by putting it into a coffin, an unexpected festive twist! I also made sure to add in some seasonal favorites, as well as things that would complement the delicious cocktails! I also added in orange slices to incorporate a touch of the Halloween colors. You can make this any way you like with anything you have on hand that will tie into the event. One of my favorite things about charcuterie at parties is how easy they are to make with anything you have on hand.

Upgrade Your Bar Cart

Are you looking for a chic way to upgrade your Halloween party this year? Look no further than your bar cart! With a few simple touches, you can instantly transform your bar cart into a spooky and chic space perfect for entertaining. Start by hanging some bat cutouts (or any other Halloween-themed cutouts) from the ceiling or placing them on the wall for a festive touch. Then, stack some faux pumpkins and gourds around the cart for an autumnal feel. To amp up the Halloween vibe, add some spooky touches to your drinks like dry ice or a glow-in-the-dark garnish. For a classic Halloween touch, hang a black or white gauze cloth on the cart. With a few simple touches, you’ll have a chic Halloween bar cart that is sure to impress your guests!

I always love to do a signature cocktail at every party I throw. This time was no different! I found 21 Seeds tequila earlier this year and have been trying different cocktails out ( as well as enjoying it on its own). I really love that their brand has 3 different flavors. Their flavor choices are the perfect way to have multiple signature cocktails that please different pallets! I’ll be sharing the recipes I made this month so hang tight! Until then.. how cute does their tequila look on display!! 21 Seeds is a female-owned business, and you can find them at your local stores, to find head -here-. For more Halloween cocktails head to their website -here- or follow them on IG for more @21Seeds cocktail recipes!

Extra Tips on How to make your Halloween party look chic and sophisticated

To create the perfect atmosphere, it’s important to choose a sophisticated color palette and incorporate subtle Halloween elements. Blacks, whites, light pinks and oranges can be a great way to achieve a chic look. Pumpkins, ghosts, and bats can be used to decorate while still maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere. To complete the look, set the tone with an elegant invitation and hang a festive banner or two. When it comes to the music, jazz or classical can be great options for a chic Halloween party along with a few classic Halloween favorites. These genres will help create a sophisticated atmosphere without overshadowing the other elements of the party. Depending on your preferences, you can also explore other options such as classic rock or alternative music. By combining certain elements and small touches, you can create a chic Halloween party that your guests will remember and talk about for years to come. With a little bit of planning and creativity, you can create the perfect Halloween atmosphere.

Hope you enjoyed this table décor and party ideas for a chic Halloween! Giving you more ideas then just an all-black halloween, but one full of color! Happy entertaining this holiday season. A Rosy Pink Galentines Party

Are you looking for a unique and fun way to celebrate Valentine's Day this year? How about throwing a Rosey Pink Galentines Party? This fun and festive celebration is perfect for getting together with your closest friends and celebrating love, friendship, and all things pink and rosey! Whether you're hosting a dinner, brunch, or an afternoon tea, a Rosey Pink Galentines Party will bring a bit of cheer and joy to your special day. From decorations to activities, we'll show you how to plan the perfect Rosey Pink Galentines Party. Read on to find out more!

Galentines.. a fun way to celebrate the season of love with your favorite gals. I am always looking for a way to incorporate my very favorite color of pink into any dinner party I throw, and for this time of the year it fit the theme perfectly. Valentines is a month where my favorite color is EVERYWHERE! I turned our dining room into a rosy pink Valentines oasis filled with the most stunning flowers and pink touches everywhere.

IMG_1386.JPG

For the balloon wall I found a listing on Etsy that lets you pick whatever letters or numbers you want. I measured the wall to see how many X’s and O’s I could fit onto the wall. The exact ones I got on Etsy are linked -here-! The best part is you can deflate these after you use them and save them to reuse the next time!

For the table setting I used two different sets of glasses to add differing heights and dimensions. One set were crystal wine glasses and the other antique pink glasses that were my grandmothers. To make them even more special I dipped their rims in melted white chocolate and then sprinkles. It adds a cute element and tastes delicious! To layer up the place setting I found the cutest pink heart shaped plates at target for only $3 each! Such a steal and so popular they keep selling out! Just add Target to notify you and they will when they come back in stock, but hurry.. they sell out very fast! Next, I folded and placed cheesecloth napkins (They are the same ones I used on my Thanksgiving table linked -here- for another way to style.) on top of the plate and put my silverware on top then wrapped in a bow. Its super simple but oh so cute! All the layers add such great detail as well!

Onto the superheroes of any good party.. the Vendors! Luckily for parties we have help and resources and don’t have to hold all the weight of it all. I found the best food and floral vendors to help put this fun party together.

I was so excited to work with Emerald Grace who did all the floral arrangements for the gorgeous table! She is such a doll and did AMAZING work!! I have loved all of her beautiful arrangements she’s done for me in the past but this table really took the cake! She also added a very special unique element that any girls party needs…a bouquet bar! She brought different types of greenery and flowers to put on my bar cart with butcher paper and string. This added a cute focal point and something special for each of the ladies to take home and enjoy the rest of the week! For more of Julie’s work from Emerald Grace head to her website -here-.

In my opinion party favors are something that every party, big or small, needs. I added an adorable touch next to each place setting with a yummy cookie favor from Just Dough With It! They have a Valentines cookie with The Moira Rose (rose shortbread). They are so delicious and they came individually bagged to perfection! To get cookies for your valentine or for your next event head to their website -here-. On top I placed a valentine card.. because after all it is that time of year. I found the cutest small valentines cards from Minted that went perfectly with everything else!

Food! It’s probably the most memorable good or bad part of any party. If you leave with a full and happy belly you will never forget it! For this event I started with the most delicious charcuterie board that was perfectly made with heart shaped cheeses and strawberries along with salami folded into the shape of roses. Sandra from Fig and Olive totally created a masterpiece of food. I don’t think I can ever make my own board again haha!! For more info on Fig and Olive and to hire her for your next event or for just a box of yummies on your next date night at home head to her website -here-.

Dinner was absolute perfection! My friends at Tacos San Marcos made the most delicious spread! They made tacos, Strawberry Limeade, Quesadilla, Quesatacos, rice and beans and delicious churro cheesecake! Each and everything they made was delicious. They even cater so I highly recommend they for your next event! Everything was amazing and they send all the toppings you could possibly want. Unveiling the Feast: A Warm Welcome to My Thanksgiving Table

Welcome, lovely readers! As we approach that wondrous time of year when we gather around the table, sharing laughter, stories, and, of course, a bounty of delicious food, I can't help but share my excitement with you all. Thanksgiving is more than just a holiday; it's a sentiment, a feeling of warmth and gratitude. So pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of hot apple cider, and join me as we prepare to celebrate. Welcome to my Thanksgiving table — a place where food meets tradition, love, and gratitude.

20201114-warren-laurenwestra-182.jpg

Creating the table decor for the Holidays has always been such a special hobby for me. I can remember being a young girl and loving helping my mom set the table for a regular weeknight dinner. It was so important to me to have a dinner for our family at the table. It helped me feel all grown-up and explore my creativity in decorating skills! So now that I officially am a grown-up I put a lot more thought and energy into my table settings, and I still love every single moment of it! This year I had the pleasure of hosting our Friendsgiving, so of course I decided to make a real production of it. I got to work with a few of my favorite companies to showcase all the amazing work they do.

Here is a list of Vendors I was so blessed to work with! Feel free to click on their Instagram handles to see more of their amazing work along with how to get in touch with them for your next event this year!

The Charcuterie Table

A charcuterie board or table is such a fun element to add to any party! It adds a relaxed vibe to any elegant event and makes for a great meeting point. The foods you can get creative with and can range from anything like traditional cheeses & salamis to veggies and fruit. Anything in season goes so well here! A board also makes for fun textures and color schemes. There should be plenty of options for even the pickiest of eaters! I love using everything that is in season for this because provides the freshest of ingredients and gives a great vibe to your table, board or plate!

The Drinks

No party is complete without a drinking station!! I try to put the drinks in a different area than the food just so people will move around and not stick to one place or corner at a party. It's always best to fully utilize the space you have and spread things out! For most of our events, I have a mix of beer, wine and one signature cocktail. Doing one signature cocktail cuts down on the waste of alcohol along with the cost (as well as the tipsy guests haha!!) I loved using all Robert Hall wine varieties so that everyone had a wine they would enjoy! No two people or wines are alike so the variety made sure everyone had something that they could enjoy!

The Tablescape

This might be the most memorable thing for your guests if they are visual people! I always love a table that is functional as well as gorgeous! I try to keep room for glasses in the center and my centerpiece below or above eye level so people can see across the table. Since this was a Thanksgiving gathering I wanted to use a Fall color scheme, but I of course wanted to incorporate my all-time favorite color of pink on this table as well. I am always keeping colors on the lighter side because that is the vibe I love and they looked nice against the wood tones in the tables and chairs. I added a mix of different collections of chairs to add a home/family element to the table and give an instant feeling of warmth. They are all from Stockroom Picks, a local vendor, along with the glasses and candlesticks that gave an eclectic style and charm. The beautiful flower centerpiece fits in just perfectly with these elements from Floral Flower Cart! The dishes and place settings are my everyday dishes that added a light touch to the darker table, and I LOVE how they turned out together! I finished off the place settings with a personalized leaf place card that was handwritten. This added a decorative piece to the autumnal place setting and was a perfect special touch.

The linens I used here are cheesecloth that I ordered on Amazon and died myself with Ritdye. I ordered it all on Amazon and shared them on my Instagram stories of how the dyeing process went. To get the light color I suggest using VERY little dye and following the instructions exactly. I ended up dyeing mine twice. The first time the pinkness came out too bright and I washed them with hot water several times to get it a little lighter and used those inside on the charcuterie board and drink station. I wanted them lighter on the table so I did it again and used very little dye! I used a mix of the petal pink color and tan, linking them both below for you. For the napkins, I used the same process and cut the tablecloth into the amount of napkins I needed. Tied them in a knot and they were good to go.

The Food

After about 7 years of hosting events as a married gal, I’ve learned a few tricks on how to manage my time and not have a meltdown in the kitchen. Two tips of advice are to know what your strengths are and how to simplify. I know that my strengths are as a baker and although I cook meat fairly well, if someone can do it better I’m all for it! So this Thanksgiving I gladly handed off the task to my friends at Exeter Meats. They smoked the turkey for our Friendsgiving (and are making one for our family Thanksgiving) to perfection!! It was so moist and delicious that I don’t think I will ever go back to cooking turkey myself! Another helpful hint when planning for a party is when you can do something the day before, do it! This always helps too in the case of something unexpected coming up. I made most of the dishes the day before and left a little time off of each recipe to finish cooking the day of right before it was time to eat! Last note on the food, having good high-quality pans that cook food well helps to ensure each dish will always be the best. I will link my favorites I used for this Thanksgiving below from my friends at 360 Cookware.

The Gift Everyone Will Love - Purple Mattress

This summer we started the long process of updating our house. Although we didn’t do every room, our bedroom was one we focused on that needed some attention!! Our mattress topped the list for what needed to be updated, STAT! After researching a ton of different mattresses I knew I wanted to try something that delivers, so I went with PURPLE! We first got the mattress and Scott was obsessed with the cushion like feel of it (AKA the Purple hex technology), you can even see below how it looks and feels underneath in the tiny replica of the cushion that they sent below.

purple3.jpg

Once we slept on it a few times we knew we were in love and thought our guest bedroom deserved the same love. We want our company to feel the same pleasure and get a comfy nights sleep as if they are in a nice hotel when they visit! Once we got used to the mattresses we saw that PURPLE came out with a pillow with the same exact purple hex technology and we knew we had to get it. The pillow gives you:

No pressure support (adapting to your head and neck for support)

Stays cool at night (open air channels throughout keep you cool through the night)

Doesn’t lose its shape (keeps its shape over night and over time)

purple4.jpg

Just like PURPLE mattresses this pillow comes with 100 day trial! It also comes with a 1 year warranty, which I think is more than fair because I probably buy 2 pillows a year!! Their mattresses come with a 2 year warranty and also have that same hex technology that will keep you cool and give you support no matter how you lay at night.

We have been loving our mattress from the minute we laid on them and now we hope our guests will too! If you are looking for the best, look no further! Have questions about this mattress or pillows? Let me know below! I know it can be hard to find what your looking for when it comes to sleeping every night so I’m here to help!

Happy Sleeping Friends.

Simple and Budget-Friendly Living Room Updates in Just a Few Easy Steps

If you're looking for an easy, low-cost way to update your living room without completely starting from scratch, you've come to the right place. This blog post will provide you with some simple tips and tricks to give you simple living room updates in just a few easy steps. We'll discuss everything from rearranging furniture to adding a few new accessories, and hopefully, you'll find plenty of inspiring ideas to help you create the perfect living room for you and your family.

living9.jpg

Time to Freshen Up the Family Room

Do you want to give your living room a much-needed update but not sure where to start? If you're looking to give your living room a fresh new look, then these simple steps are all you need to get started! First, identify if you need to rearrange your furniture. Rearranging your furniture to create the most inviting atmosphere should be your goal. Moving furniture around helps to reduce visual distractions and creates a more open, inviting space with nice walk-throughs from the main entrances.

Next, add a few colorful accents to brighten up the room. Choose items that are both functional and stylish, like a bright rug, a decorative vase, or a new paint color. To add visual interest, hang a few large framed photos. If you’re feeling extra creative, you can even create a gallery wall for a unique look. For a cozy feel, invest in some new throw pillows and blankets. You can also add a few potted plants to bring a bit of nature and serenity into the room.

Finally, hang a few wall decor pieces to add personality. Consider hanging mirrors, paintings, or wall hangings that you love. Investing in good lighting is also important to make your space look as bright and inviting as possible. Also, try adding a few lamps or changing out the lightbulbs for a brighter look.

Curate a Gallery Wall

Are you looking for a way to give your living room a fresh look without breaking the bank? A gallery wall is a great way to add a unique touch to a living room. With just a few easy steps, you can create a beautiful gallery wall where you can add pieces you have been collecting over the years.

The first step is to gather artwork or family photos you love. You can find art pieces at flea markets, thrift stores, online, or even create your own. Let finding or creating these gems leave a lasting memory for you. If you are wanting something more personal take a look at the old family photos you took. Maybe you had some professionally taken photos like for Christmas cards, or from vacations, and frame any of those fond memories you have! When selecting pieces, try to choose pieces of similar size and color to create a classic, cohesive look. Once you have your artwork ready, pick a wall in your living room that has plenty of space to work with.

Next, begin to create your wall by mapping out the pieces you have chosen and experimenting with different arrangements. Use hardware to hang the artwork and add your own personal touches such as picture frames, shelves, or vintage items.

Finally, step back and admire your work! You’ve just created a beautiful gallery wall that will be the perfect addition to your living room. With just a few easy steps, you can give your living room a fresh look and create a unique and stylish space.

Reimagine Your Existing Antiques

One way to instantly update your living room is to add an antique piece of furniture as a statement piece. An antique armchair or sofa in the center of your living room will be the focal point of the room and give it an old-fashioned charm and sophistication. You can also incorporate antique accent pieces such as lamps, clocks, or mirrors to give your living room a vintage vibe.

Another way to update your living room is to reupholster existing furniture. If you have an old armchair or sofa, give it a new look by adding new upholstery to it for a fresh new look. This will give your living room a more current feel, while still keeping the vintage elements of the pieces that you love. You can also replace the hardware on your furniture with vintage-style hardware to give it a fresh look.

Paint Your Fireplace

Are you looking for an easy way to give your living room a fresh, new look? Painting your fireplace is a simple and cost-effective way to update your space in no time. With the right materials and a few easy steps, you can have a new and improved fireplace in no time.

To start, begin by prepping the area around the fireplace. Remove any furniture and give the area a thorough cleaning. Once the area is ready, use painter's tape to mask off any areas around the fireplace that you don't want to paint. This will help keep your lines clean and give you a professional-looking finish.

Next, apply a primer to the fireplace before painting. This will help the paint adhere better and last longer. When all the prep work is done, you're ready to paint! Use a brush or roller to apply two coats of paint, letting each coat dry between applications.

However, if you are looking for a whitewash paint on a fireplace like I did on mine you will want to add water to your paint and do one coat at a time with no primer. I didn't do the same amount of coats on the entire thing to keep it alternating between the bricks. I gave the color a more natural vibe, even as a whitewash, but I loved the change fro the original red brick.

Finally, remove the painter's tape and admire your newly updated fireplace. With just a few simple steps, you can easily give your living room a fresh new look.

Cue the Color with Pillows & Throw Blankets

Update your living room in just a few easy steps with colorful pillows or blankets! Pillows are a simple and cost-effective way to add life to a dull living room. Adding a few colorful pillows can give your living room a new look without breaking the bank. Not sure what colors and textures to use? Cue the Color with Pillows can help you pick the perfect pillows to add vibrancy to your living room. You can mix and match different colors and textures to create a unique look that will fit your decor. Besides adding color, pillows can also be used to tie together different colors and patterns in the room, creating a cohesive look. Moreover, they can be used to add texture and character to your living room, making it look more inviting.

Another great place to start is with a brightly colored throw. This can instantly give your living room a pop of color and texture. When selecting your throw, try to stay within the same color palette, but feel free to mix in different textures and patterns. This will create an interesting and inviting look. Also, choose a throw that has a pattern or texture that will stand out from the other elements in the room. This will draw attention to the throw and can help to make the living room look more interesting. Another great thing about throws is that they can be used to cover up a worn or outdated sofa with the right placement. This can instantly give your living room a more modern and updated look. And the best part is that it’s an easy and affordable way to instantly spruce up the room. Plus, it can be easily switched out if you want to change up the look of the room.

When choosing pillows and throws, consider the style of your room and your own personal preferences. Carefully selecting colors and textures can help create a unified look in your living room. Selecting pillows and throws that match a color scheme or overall look of the room can help to pull everything together. Whether you’re looking to add a pop of color or make a statement with bold patterns, pillows and throws are an easy way to update your living room in a few easy steps.

Rearrange Your Bookshelves

Giving your living room a facelift doesn't have to mean investing in expensive furniture or a complete renovation. One of the simplest and quickest ways to update the look of your living room is by rearranging your bookshelf. This small change can have a big impact without breaking the bank.

The first step is to remove all the books from the shelves and sort them into categories. This way you can easily figure out how to arrange the books in the most visually appealing way. You can group them by color or alphabetically, or even get creative and arrange them in an interesting pattern. Once the books are in place, you can add in other decorative items such as plants, vases, pictures or frames to give the shelves more personality. These items can add texture, color, and pattern to your living room and make the overall look more interesting.

Style a Stack on Your Coffee Table

When it comes to simple living room updates, books can be your best friend. Start by selecting a stack of books in different shapes, sizes, and colors that will fit on your coffee table. Place the stack in the center of the table and add a tray or coaster beneath it to protect the surface. Then layer different types of décor items on top of the stack for a one-of-a-kind look. To keep the living room looking uncluttered, keep the décor pieces relatively small. To add the finishing touches, place a few candles, a vase of flowers, or other decorative accents around the stack. With just a few easy steps, you can instantly update your living room without breaking the bank.

Budget-Friendly Ways to Update Your Living Room

Revamping your living room can seem like a daunting task, however, it does not have to be! With just a few easy steps, you can update the look of your living room and give it a fresh, modern feel in an inexpensive way.

To start, painting the walls is a great way to instantly transform the look of a room. Choose the latest colors in style to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Once the walls are painted, replace old furniture with modern pieces. If you are on a budget, consider buying second-hand pieces and give them a fresh coat of paint. Hanging artwork is an easy way to add texture and color to a room. Choose pieces that reflect your style and personality.

Changing out the curtains, window treatments or blinds can add a new layer of sophistication to the room. Consider adding a sheer fabric for a cozy feel or a bright print for a bold look. Adding a few throw pillows can give the room an updated look and create a comfortable place to relax. You can also switch out the light fixtures for a more modern look. Reorganizing the furniture can create a more inviting space. Place a mirror in the room for an illusion of more space. Finally, adding some plants and shelves can give a homey vibe.

Creating a Stunning Small Modern Bathroom With White and Gold Colors

Are you looking to update one of your small bathrooms without sacrificing style? It can be a challenge to find the perfect look for a tiny space, but this white and gold modern small bathroom remodel is the perfect solution. This timeless design is sure to be a showstopper and will help you maximize the space you have while bringing some elegance to it. Read on to find out more about how to recreate this look in your own bathroom.

Since moving into our home we have slowly done renovation projects to essentially the entire house. We've redone the kitchen, laundry room, flooring, and landscaping in the front and back yards, and now we finished our second remodeled bathroom with the master bath. I’d love to toot my own horn and say I'm now an expert at what to expect when doing a remodel, but the truth is you just never know what to expect. One thing I have learned through it all is it will usually be twice as long as you expected and double your budget.

This remodel was no different! Everything I wanted for the space was always more expensive and harder to find! However, this time I was ready for it, and didn’t rush anything or stress myself out. Our faucets were a little more expensive, and the shower head to match was impossible to get shipped to California because of the drought issue (even though it didn’t come with a valve that controlled the water regulation.) Three weeks later, and after a few phone calls to my contractor to help find just what I wanted, we had it here and installed!

The next step was the countertops. We had to visit a few places because they all said they couldn’t get me the quartz Calcutta Gold countertops I wanted, for the small size I wanted. Home Depot could get it for me but I had to spend a minimum of 1,500 for a small countertop. I was ready to go ahead and spend it, but my contractor’s countertop guy found one in Bakersfield, CA, about an hour away from where we live. Since we've redone our bathroom this countertops option is now available at Home Depot.

In case you are wondering why I wanted this countertop so badly it's because we have quartz in our kitchen that we did back in 2013 before it was as popular and I have been extremely happy with it. I cut food right on it, and also use food coloring along with other wear and tear, and it never stains or leaves a scratch. Flash forward to 2017 and I had to have the marble look in our guest bathroom. It was the worst choice ever! It was scratched before our bathroom was even finished (poor choice in contractors) and cannot be polished out. I have talked to several countertop specialists. It probably wouldn’t be noticeable to anyone who visits but I know, and knowing means that the scratch will be all you’ll see every time you go in there now. Now, 2 years later I still wanted that marble look but without the upkeep and having to be so cautious with it. So, we went with quartz again and found a gorgeous tile to match!

What Materials Are Used In a White and Gold Modern Small Bathroom Remodel?

A white and gold modern small bathroom remodel can be a great way to create a luxurious look in your home. The use of materials like marble, porcelain, and glass can help to create a beautiful and timeless design. Gold accents such as fixtures, a gold-rimmed mirror, and gold accents in the tile add a modern touch to the design. Porcelain tiles with a marble-like pattern can be an elegant and affordable flooring option that is easy to maintain. Glass shower doors and walls give the bathroom a modern and glamorous feel, while also creating the look of even more space in a small bathroom. Other things that will help add the feeling of a larger room are keeping wall color, tile and cabinets all the same color. Using multiple colors breaks up the flow of the room and gives the room a smaller, more choppy feel. This looks great in some spaces, however, when trying to create a more expansive feel in a small space this is one way to help. With the right materials and accents, a white and gold modern small bathroom remodel can be a beautiful and timeless addition to your home.

What Types of Fixtures Should I Use In My White and Gold Modern Small Bathroom Remodel?

Are you looking to add a touch of modern glamour to your small bathroom? Start by adding gold-finished faucets and handles for a stylish and modern look. Wall-mounted lighting fixtures in gold and white offer a bright and modern look and can be easily adjusted to create the perfect ambiance. Incorporate wall-mounted sconces and hanging chandeliers to brighten up the room and create a contemporary feel. Choose a white or gold-finished vanity to add a touch of glamour to the room. Match the fixtures to the other accents in the room, such as the shower curtain, hardware or wall art, to create a cohesive look. A gold-framed mirror can add a touch of sophistication and shine. Finally, incorporate storage options that feature both open and closed shelving to maximize space. For an added statement piece, add a freestanding tub or a statement waterfall showerhead. With these easy updates, you can achieve a modern white and gold small bathroom remodel that will be the envy of your guests.

What Accent Colors Look Best with a White and Gold Modern Small Bathroom Remodel?

When it comes to remodeling a small modern bathroom, there are many design options to choose from. One popular option is to utilize white and gold in the design to create a bright and sophisticated look that helps create a space that feels larger than it actually is. However if white and gold are a little more boring than you had in mind and you want to add color here are a few options you can choose from. To create a more dynamic and inviting space, neutral tones like grey, cream, and beige can be used to add warmth and texture to the room. Dark colors like navy blue, dark green, and black can be used to create a luxurious and modern look. Additionally, bold colors like bright yellow, electric blue and orange can be used as accent colors to add a pop of personality to the space. For more of a calming effect, soft pastel colors like pink, lavender, and mint green can be added to the room. Adding color doesn't have to be in the form of cabinets or wallpaper, but can also be achieved by adding small features. Think about adding a small hint of color to your backsplash or with fun accessories on your countertops. By combining colors in different ways, you can create a truly unique and stylish space that you'll proudly love to show off.

What are the Best Ways to Maximize Space In a White and Gold Modern Small Bathroom Remodel?

If you’re looking to remodel your small bathroom, modern white and gold may be the perfect color scheme for you. This classic color combo is both timeless and beautiful, and it can help make your bathroom look and feel more spacious. Here are a few more tips to help you make the most of your remodel.

Invest in multipurpose furniture such as a vanity that doubles as a universal storage cabinet. This type of furniture can help you make the most of your small bathroom space without compromising on style. Floating shelves are a great way to add storage and a styling area to a small bathroom without taking up any floor space. You can also hang baskets or shelves on the walls to maximize the amount of storage without sacrificing the look of your bathroom. A slim sink can save a lot of space in a small bathroom, and it will still look stylish and modern. Consider investing in a wall-mounted toilet, as this will help open up the space and make the bathroom feel larger. Investing in multipurpose furniture and utilizing wall space will help you make the most of your bathroom without sacrificing style.

Updating a small bathroom can be a daunting task, but with these simple tips and tricks you can easily transform it into a luxurious and modern oasis in no time. White and gold bathrooms have been a timeless look for decades and will continue to be in style for years to come. Gold fixtures and accents can help to create the illusion of a larger space and add a touch of glamour and luxury to the bathroom.
