My Table Decor With William Sonoma

This year I found the most beautiful place setting and decor from William Sonoma that I fell in love with, the Famille Rose. The patterned pieces look amazing with so many colors but I opted to stay with the beautiful pink and green elements. Adding in a neutral green tablecloth and napkins gave a soft touch of color to go with the pink chargers and plates. For the side table, I added a green tablecloth and more gorgeous pieces from the William Sonoma collection that highlights their fun desserts for Easter. The Champagne bucket is also a perfect touch for brunch with champagne or rose for an Easter dinner. I filled ours with Justin rosé and two bottles of Justin red (Right Angle and Cabernet Sauvignon) on the table to give our guests options to pair with their delicious ham dinner from William Sonoma.

The final touches I added were the cutest little moss bunnies on the table and the sideboard. They make the best addition to any Easter and Spring table. I also went with tulips for the ultimate Spring floral addition. I found pink and white tulips at our local Trader Joe's and added them to vases for a simple centerpiece our guests would love!

No matter how you choose to decorate your table, Easter is a special time of the year. It's a time for celebrating with family and friends. With a few simple decorations and thoughtful touches, you can create a beautiful Easter Spring table that will be sure to bring joy, happiness, and wonderful memories to your celebration.

Creating the Perfect Valentines Rosé and Brunch Tablescape

The beautiful season of love is on the way, and what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with an elegant rosé brunch tablescape? Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner for two or a fun gathering with friends, the perfect tablescape can make your Valentine's Day celebration even more special. With the right combination of food, drinks, decorations, and a bit of creativity, you can create a memorable Valentine's Day brunch tablescape that your guests will love. There are many different selections of delicious rosé wines and delicate decorations, so here are some tips to help you put together a stunning Valentine's Day brunch tablescape.

Wine and Roses

I started my brunch and rose themed Valentines tablescape off by finding the cutest evite online. That little bit of inspiration helped, and from then on everything just fell into place. Evite's make entertaining and inviting friends and family to an event so easy by being sent straight to their email address, but you can also print and mail them as well. The next thing I added to this theme was a toast to love, using a special bottle of wine. This brand of rose is sentimental to me because years ago it was actually a wine bottle my husband gave to me and had engraved with " I LOVE YOU" to tell me for the first time that he loved me. So, it's obviously holds a special place in my heart and one I like to pull out from time to time. What more perfect of a time than on Valentines day. Next, I set the table with romantic rose colored inspired dinnerware and linens. I placed floral place settings around the rim of each plate and coffee mug and a rose colored napkin. To complete the table, I created a custom menu of delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch items. To add that extra bit of love to your table, decorate it with hearts and love-inspired decorations. I wanted this Valentines rosé and brunch tablescape to be very easy and whimsical so I ordered small bud vases to line the center of the table and picked up beautiful flowers from our local Trader Joe's. Bud vases make for an easy tablescape because a few florals fill the vase and it makes a very beautiful delicate centerpiece arrangement. I made a few larger rose arrangements for the sidebar that I made into a buffet area as well.

Valentine Inspired Dishes

To complete the table, create a custom menu of delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch items. I put all of the breakfast items on my side table for easy access and to add to the display. For some inspiration on your brunch menu, you could start with heart shaped waffles, a fun and easy way to show your love with breakfast. For a lighter option, I love to make parfaits without granola and instead use chopped pecans. This is a great way to still have a delicious treat, but be a little lighter than the waffles and scones. Speaking of raspberry scones, I made this delicious treat that pairs perfectly with the theme with its raspberry coloring. I will link my full recipes at the end of this blog post as well. To have a little something for everyone, fruit and cheese is an easy and delicious grazing dish. Don’t forget to have drinks! Coffee, Rose, Teas, Water and Juices are all great options for your guests. With these delicious treats and drinks, your Valentine’s Day brunch table will be sure to be a hit!

Garden Style Rose Inspiration

This Valentine's Day, create a romantic brunch tablescape your loved ones won't soon forget. An abundance of garden roses in blush and white will give your space a romantic touch. You can incorporate a variety of pink and white roses to give your tablescape a soft and beautiful texture. Also consider adding a few accents of greenery, like eucalyptus, for a fresh, whimsical and natural look. To keep a bottle of rosé chilled, fill a champagne bucket with ice and add left over florals peddles to the ice for a beautiful, over the top creative detail that will tie into the centerpiece. Place your favorite rosé glasses by the bucket, and stuff it with cotton candy for an extra pop of color and sweetness. With these simple tips, you can create a beautiful Valentine's Day brunch tablescape that will wow your guests.

Read on to find out how to create a unique Father's Day picnic and table decor, and make your dad feel extra special this year.

I was so excited for this Father’s Day tablescape that I couldn’t wait and decided to prepare it extra early. Little did I know this would be my last tablescape in our California home before our big sudden move to Texas!! It was such a fun and memorable day I got to spend with my mom and step-dad decorating and shooting photos :) Now.. onto the table theme!

Father's Day is always a challenging table for me to decorate because I always have that soft, girly need in me to add pink to every table. I still did here, but made it more manly with the picnic theme. My color scheme for this table setting was very light and incorporated a garden vibe. I wanted it to be manly enough but still be something the moms would enjoy and appreciate as well, being one of our last celebrations together. I added lots of blues, whites and styled garden flower centerpieces from my sweet friend Julie at Emerald’s Grace. She’s always crushed every idea I have ever thrown her way! Loved the layered prints from the tablecloth and plates with the added galvanized chargers and touches. I picked the galvanized chargers because I saw the taco holders and it really pulled it together for the table. I already had the drink bucket from Pottery Barn from our wedding registry and love how it gives an outdoor rustic design and blended well with the Father's Day tablecloth and printed dishes. I also used my favorite silverware from Liberty Table Top and 360 Cookware to keep the silver that went well with the galvanized feel.

When it comes to decorating the table for a Father's Day picnic, one of the most timeless and elegant options is to use fresh flowers. I can always count on Emerald Grace to put together the most stunning centerpiece for every table I put together. Whether you are looking for roses, daisies, lilies, or any other type of flower, you can find them here. Whether you want to add a touch of color to your picnic table, or you just want to show your Dad how much he means to you with a special bouquet, you will find what you need at Emerald Grace. Plus, you can also find helpful advice from their team of terrific florists who can help you create the perfect look for your picnic table, holiday or hosting events. Once we finished setting up the perfect Father's Day picnic with our table decor ideas, it was time to take care of the food. We decided to go for some Mexican food to really make this picnic special with my step-dad's favorite food spread! We called up our favorite local restaurant, Tacos San Marcos, and ordered a huge buffet with tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and all the fixings. Everyone was delighted with the delicious food and we all enjoyed it immensely! For those looking to recreate the same experience in the area of our hometown of Tulare, CA Tacos San Marcos is a great place to pick up a quick dinner or cater your next event. Our Neutral (with pops of pink) Bedroom

When updating our bedroom after moving everything over to the beach house I wanted to mix of all the styles I like.. a little boho with a sprinkle of vintage! To tell the truth I really don’t know what my style for home décor is.. I love parts of all styles so I’m always trying to make it work together. I think I was able to complete this in our bedroom but also make it functional and cozy!

I also really wanted to add in pink to the all neutral room but still keep it masculine enough for Scotty. By getting the wood edging bed that has so much detail I felt it added texture and kept the rest of the bedding neutral, except the 2 blush muted pillows to add the pink I wanted. Then I added 2 vases to carry the color though. Along with our photos on the wall where I am wearing a pink dress in some. This gave the touch of color I wanted without Scotty caring. This also gives me room to change it out in the future if I want and not spending a bunch of money.

Linking everything below and similar items incase they sold out! Hope you love it as much as I do!

This blog post will provide you with some simple tips and tricks to give you simple living room updates in just a few easy steps. We'll discuss everything from rearranging furniture to adding a few new accessories, and hopefully, you'll find plenty of inspiring ideas to help you create the perfect living room for you and your family.

Time to Freshen Up the Family Room

Do you want to give your living room a much-needed update but not sure where to start? If you're looking to give your living room a fresh new look, then these simple steps are all you need to get started! First, identify if you need to rearrange your furniture. Rearranging your furniture to create the most inviting atmosphere should be your goal. Moving furniture around helps to reduce visual distractions and creates a more open, inviting space with nice walk-throughs from the main entrances.

Next, add a few colorful accents to brighten up the room. Choose items that are both functional and stylish, like a bright rug, a decorative vase, or a new paint color. To add visual interest, hang a few large framed photos. If you’re feeling extra creative, you can even create a gallery wall for a unique look. For a cozy feel, invest in some new throw pillows and blankets. You can also add a few potted plants to bring a bit of nature and serenity into the room.

Finally, hang a few wall decor pieces to add personality. Consider hanging mirrors, paintings, or wall hangings that you love. Investing in good lighting is also important to make your space look as bright and inviting as possible. Also, try adding a few lamps or changing out the lightbulbs for a brighter look.

Curate a Gallery Wall

Are you looking for a way to give your living room a fresh look without breaking the bank? A gallery wall is a great way to add a unique touch to a living room. With just a few easy steps, you can create a beautiful gallery wall where you can add pieces you have been collecting over the years.

The first step is to gather artwork or family photos you love. You can find art pieces at flea markets, thrift stores, online, or even create your own. Let finding or creating these gems leave a lasting memory for you. If you are wanting something more personal take a look at the old family photos you took. Maybe you had some professionally taken photos like for Christmas cards, or from vacations, and frame any of those fond memories you have! When selecting pieces, try to choose pieces of similar size and color to create a classic, cohesive look. Once you have your artwork ready, pick a wall in your living room that has plenty of space to work with.

Next, begin to create your wall by mapping out the pieces you have chosen and experimenting with different arrangements. Use hardware to hang the artwork and add your own personal touches such as picture frames, shelves, or vintage items.

Finally, step back and admire your work! You’ve just created a beautiful gallery wall that will be the perfect addition to your living room. With just a few easy steps, you can give your living room a fresh look and create a unique and stylish space.

Reimagine Your Existing Antiques

One way to instantly update your living room is to add an antique piece of furniture as a statement piece. An antique armchair or sofa in the center of your living room will be the focal point of the room and give it an old-fashioned charm and sophistication. You can also incorporate antique accent pieces such as lamps, clocks, or mirrors to give your living room a vintage vibe.

Another way to update your living room is to reupholster existing furniture. If you have an old armchair or sofa, give it a new look by adding new upholstery to it for a fresh new look. This will give your living room a more current feel, while still keeping the vintage elements of the pieces that you love. You can also replace the hardware on your furniture with vintage-style hardware to give it a fresh look.

Paint Your Fireplace

Are you looking for an easy way to give your living room a fresh, new look? Painting your fireplace is a simple and cost-effective way to update your space in no time. With the right materials and a few easy steps, you can have a new and improved fireplace in no time.

To start, begin by prepping the area around the fireplace. Remove any furniture and give the area a thorough cleaning. Once the area is ready, use painter's tape to mask off any areas around the fireplace that you don't want to paint. This will help keep your lines clean and give you a professional-looking finish.

Next, apply a primer to the fireplace before painting. This will help the paint adhere better and last longer. When all the prep work is done, you're ready to paint! Use a brush or roller to apply two coats of paint, letting each coat dry between applications.

However, if you are looking for a whitewash paint on a fireplace like I did on mine you will want to add water to your paint and do one coat at a time with no primer. I didn't do the same amount of coats on the entire thing to keep it alternating between the bricks. I gave the color a more natural vibe, even as a whitewash, but I loved the change fro the original red brick.

Finally, remove the painter's tape and admire your newly updated fireplace. With just a few simple steps, you can easily give your living room a fresh new look.

Cue the Color with Pillows & Throw Blankets

Update your living room in just a few easy steps with colorful pillows or blankets! Pillows are a simple and cost-effective way to add life to a dull living room. Adding a few colorful pillows can give your living room a new look without breaking the bank. Not sure what colors and textures to use? Cue the Color with Pillows can help you pick the perfect pillows to add vibrancy to your living room. You can mix and match different colors and textures to create a unique look that will fit your decor. Besides adding color, pillows can also be used to tie together different colors and patterns in the room, creating a cohesive look. Moreover, they can be used to add texture and character to your living room, making it look more inviting.

Another great place to start is with a brightly colored throw. This can instantly give your living room a pop of color and texture. When selecting your throw, try to stay within the same color palette, but feel free to mix in different textures and patterns. This will create an interesting and inviting look. Also, choose a throw that has a pattern or texture that will stand out from the other elements in the room. This will draw attention to the throw and can help to make the living room look more interesting. Another great thing about throws is that they can be used to cover up a worn or outdated sofa with the right placement. This can instantly give your living room a more modern and updated look. And the best part is that it’s an easy and affordable way to instantly spruce up the room. Plus, it can be easily switched out if you want to change up the look of the room.

When choosing pillows and throws, consider the style of your room and your own personal preferences. Carefully selecting colors and textures can help create a unified look in your living room. Selecting pillows and throws that match a color scheme or overall look of the room can help to pull everything together. Whether you’re looking to add a pop of color or make a statement with bold patterns, pillows and throws are an easy way to update your living room in a few easy steps.

Rearrange Your Bookshelves

Giving your living room a facelift doesn't have to mean investing in expensive furniture or a complete renovation. One of the simplest and quickest ways to update the look of your living room is by rearranging your bookshelf. This small change can have a big impact without breaking the bank.

The first step is to remove all the books from the shelves and sort them into categories. This way you can easily figure out how to arrange the books in the most visually appealing way. You can group them by color or alphabetically, or even get creative and arrange them in an interesting pattern. Once the books are in place, you can add in other decorative items such as plants, vases, pictures or frames to give the shelves more personality. These items can add texture, color, and pattern to your living room and make the overall look more interesting.

Style a Stack on Your Coffee Table

When it comes to simple living room updates, books can be your best friend. Start by selecting a stack of books in different shapes, sizes, and colors that will fit on your coffee table. Place the stack in the center of the table and add a tray or coaster beneath it to protect the surface. Then layer different types of décor items on top of the stack for a one-of-a-kind look. To keep the living room looking uncluttered, keep the décor pieces relatively small. To add the finishing touches, place a few candles, a vase of flowers, or other decorative accents around the stack. With just a few easy steps, you can instantly update your living room without breaking the bank.
